About Me

I can work with all levels of ESL students but I'm probably most effective with advanced students needing help with writing and presentations. More specifically I have had over 20 years experience working with Non-native business people working in Multinational companies needing help with challenges at work - writing and speaking, and specifically presentaions.

Describe your teaching and tutoring experience?

I have been teaching and tutoring for over 40 years. I am particularly effective with non-native business people working in Multi-national companies facing communication challenges at work. 

Tell us about yourself. What are your interests outside of school? What else would students enjoy knowing about you?

I have a lot of interests - but my main hobbies are playing piano (played since I was 4 years old) and swimming - which I do everyday. I am very close with my immediate family of 4 daughters - one lives in Brazil, Sao Paulo; one lives in London - both of my older girls are trilingual (English, Portuguese, Italian) and two younger daughters in California - Los Angles and Sacramento. 

What makes you an awesome Tutor? Describe any experience, qualifications or strategies here?

What makes me an effective tutor is that I am sincerely interested in people and what they do, and am very motivated to help people who are facing communication problems because of English. I am very responsive, detail-oriented, and reliable. I love what I do.
