A pleasant day to all of you! I am teacher Nicole. I have a bachelor's degree in Hotel and Tourism Management. I've held different jobs in the service industry which actually equipped me to be more competent in the English language since I needed to interact with different kinds of people. Since becoming an ESL teacher, I've had the experience of teaching reading, speaking, grammar, writing, and even test modules such as IELTS and TOEIC, both in man-to-man and online classes.
My teaching methods vary depending on the level of the student, but one thing is for sure, I always give my 100% in each class.
I am the type of person who spends an equal amount of time between friends and family. I definitely love going out with my friends, trying different types of food, traveling from place to place, learning new languages and culture, reading interesting books, watching awe-inspiring movies, hiking, camping, you name it..
Furthermore, when it comes to teaching my students, I try to ask them first what's their purpose in learning the language and what's their goal? Then, I try to adjust whether we should focus in comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, fluency or all of the above. Whenever I meet my students, I always remind them that "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." Therefore, please don't stop learning.
