Describe your teaching and tutoring experience?

I worked for a year as a reading tutor coordinator for AmeriCorp. This was a great experience that helped me learn how to coach students in the reading and understanding of the English language. 

Tell us about yourself. What are your interests outside of school? What else would students enjoy knowing about you?

My name is Maggie. I love to play soccer and spend time outdoors. I love to watch movies and spend time with my family. I listen to all kinds of music and I love learning new things. 

What makes you an awesome Tutor? Describe any experience, qualifications or strategies here?

I am patient and understanding. Having learned a second language myself (Spanish), I understand how hard it can be to learn another language. I want your students to succeed. I am flexible and will adjust my teaching strategies and techniques to meet the needs of your students.
