Describe your teaching and tutoring experience?

In America, I have taught for three years in private and charter schools. In China, I have taught one year in an English training school and four years in a university. I have also tutored  in the areas of writing, preparation for language examinations (IELTS and GRE) 

Tell us about yourself. What are your interests outside of school? What else would students enjoy knowing about you?

Outside of school, I am interested in cooking, travel / learning new cultures and writing projects.  

What makes you an awesome Tutor? Describe any experience, qualifications or strategies here?

I am an awesome tutor because I listen to my students. I want to understand them, knowing their strengths and challenging areas, so I can know how to help them. I empower students to believe in themselves and to have confidence that they can learn and grow if they trust the learning process.
