I have taught public school in Texas for 31 years. I have been married for 28 years and have two grown daughters. Mallory is a senior in college majoring in Nursing. Morgan is a senior in High School and will graduate in May. She plans to become a doctor of Physical Therapy. Both of them were members of the band and were in the colorguard. Both have served as leaders their senior years. I am so proud of their academic achievements as Honor Graduates.
We have three cats. Mango, Bella and Waffles(our new kitten). Our families are from all over the world including Canada, England and the Caribbean Islands. My husband immigrated to the USA as a teen with his family from Jamaica. My family is from Arkansas. After college I moved to the Houston area to begin my teaching career.
As a result of my husband working for the airlines, we were able to travel to many exciting places with our children. These travels influenced our cultural experiences.
I am retiring from public school education in May 2022. I have taught various levels and subjects where ever my journey took me. It has been an amazing career with many memories made and many lives enhanced.
I look forward to exploring new options to assist others in their learning experience. With many years of experience in working with large numbers of ESL students, I hope to apply all I have learned to teach new clientele learn English.
