Hello, my name is Anna. I am a very excited and passionate ESL instructor. I received my certification from the rigorous CELTA program through Teaching House. I have worked with a variety of ages from pre-teens to adults. What I am passionate about in my teaching is being able to pass on useful and practical information to my students that applies to variety of different topics. It is my belief that to learn a language and not be able to immediately apply the knowledge you've received is useless. Therefore, I aspire to teach my students grammar as well as other important areas of functional language and vocabulary for different areas of personal interest.
In my free time my hobbies consist of listening to music, playing guitar, learning a second language (Spanish) and spending time with my family and friends. I am also interested in learning about different cultures and trying new cuisines.
