Courtney is an avid lover of language and culture. She began learning to speak spanish at the age of 12 and never looked back as she pursued the study integrally. She was the president of her The Spanish Cultural Society at the illustrious Howard University. She also minored in the language as she took advantage of the many courses offered. She tuturoed, traveled, organized events and held monthly meetings in spanish. In her later years she utilized the language in the Real Estate industry and then became a dance and yoga teacher to pepole of all ages and specifically teens where she was fortunate enough to put her skills to work. Courtney fully focused on her passion for teaching and learning about others' cultures through her work.
Courtney aims to motivate others to find the enjoyment, empowerment and lifelong benefits of global communication! As a natural born performer, she also has a natural inclination to work with the youth by spending many years in the field as an early childhood educator, camp counselor and mentor. She focuses on creating meaningful and accessible experiences for people of all ages to feel alive and empowered through her classes. She focuses on the concept that learning IS FUN!
